Summary: This is a Long Read crime story. It’s contemporary and set in Canada in summer.

The Characters
STEPH: Our main character who comes home to run her gran’s diner for a while. She is tall with long blonde hair.
AMY: Steph’s best friend. She is tiny with long dark hair that she wears in a braid down her back.
WILL: Steph’s other childhood friend. He is tall with bronze coloured hair and he’s handsome.
RACHEL: The spoiled girl from their youth. She is good looking, but an awful person.

The Scene to illustrate
Can this be a montage? We have our four main characters, though Steph should be prominent, and they are all in the diner. It is described as having black and white floor tiles, red leather booths, turquoise bar stools and vintage Formica and aluminium tables. It’s all very retro! Can we also have a municipal park in the background as part of the montage. The sun should be shining.
